Reel Earth is the product of a strange chemical reaction caused by the meeting of various minds from different countries, mixed with a great deal of restless energy.

The infamous Lisa works as a Ninja on the wheels of steel, performing at clubs across London. And she's on the radio too (that's Sat afternoon, Don FM 104.2 on the dial). She's travelled around the world flaunting her skillz and stunning beauty. She says she hates camping, but is coming to the Sahara anyway, accompanying Baz her boyfriend.

UPDATE: After donating their 6 children to charity Lisa enjoys big-ing up and giving shouts out to the Reel Earth Massive on her new weekly Sunday spot on Flex FM 99.7. After sitting for 9 long months in a very hot Land Rover with only Baz to talk to she has bought a Fiat 500 with A/C and plans to set her up with Stumpy. She is eagerly awaiting the film release of the trip so she has some evidence to show her lawyers.

Baz is a sound engineer and travels all over the world to work on massive events, big concerts and such. He's actually been on tour lately with the British pop boy band Take That. When he's not hanging with Take That, he races motorbikes competitively. He has always been interested in anywhere that isnt England and in the way different cultures live and interact socially. He will be one of the premier sound technicians in the middle of the Sahara.

UPDATE: Baz is now partially deaf after sitting next to Lisa for 9 months in a Land Rover and working on over 100 music gigs back to back. He has employed a hearing dog called Jim so he does not miss his cues and also to bark at Howard from Take That. After the trip ended in Thailand he headed back to the UK proposed to Lisa and moved into a flat in Shepherds Bush. They now have 6 children and a dog.

Alex been studying film and photography ever since he was Chinese and has developed an uncanny ability to always find the right shot. After quitting his high-paying IT job in central London, he devoted himself to Africa. He has travelled throughout South Africa photographing wild game, and in the Sahara he'll be acting as a cameraman and an expert of all things electronic. He will also provide security, through a deadly combination of karate and origami.

UPDATE: Alex perfected his 5 point palm heart exploding technique and has now become a guru and sensei in the spiritual heart of deepest Middlesex. After realising that he has not worked for the last year he is now frantically looking for the IT crowd again where the legend that was once Alex will fade away to a mythical being that once roamed the Earth.

Dan is many things to many people. Apart from being ginger, he is a renowned 4x4 off-roading expert and instructor. He is also a master of wilderness survival, and is able to start a fire by way of sheer concentration.

UPDATE: Although the support was there Dan never made it beyond the borders of the UK. He was recalled for medical testing in a secret laboratory in North West London and still remains ginger. He has successfully auditioned for a reality wilderness survival TV show in the US. All they get given is a tooth pick some lipstick and a paperclip, sent out into nowhere and expected to survive for 3 months. I have already put dibs on his Land Rover.

John Camera is an American film producer. He's worked throughout the Boston area gathering experience in every aspect of TV and film production. Specializing in editing and post-production for documentaries, he's been involved with a number of shows for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, A&E, and PBS. For a time he was editor for the show "This Old House", an American institution. But he decided that TV was too boring, and that he would only produce stuff that he believed in. John is also an avid reader of history, a rugby player, a computer programmer, and a dancer.

UPDATE: John decided that travel was not for him and moved back to America to pursue his real passion as a contemporary dancer. He lasted just 5 days after a floor routine ended tragically with 3 people in hospital and a law suit. He has gone back to what he knows best - editing. He  continues to scavenge through the footage of the expedition and had to build a super computer just to cope with the magnitude of the awesomeness that the shots contained.

It was Alby's idea. Few people would be crazy enough to do half the projects he dreams up, or driven enough to see them to completion. He is the engine behind it all. He's been all over. He's been a skydiver and a scuba instructor, and plenty of other things, but his main passion is going to places he's not supposed to go and taking pictures. As a professional photographer, he's always been drawn to the edges of the world and its most extreme environments. His earliest attempts at filmmaking won instant acclaim, and his work has been seen at film festivals from Canada to New Zealand. Alby takes the role of Director of our upcoming production in the desert. Alby is the single most exciting British filmmaker of his generation.

UPDATE: After an horrific incident involving a yak in Tibet Alby was rushed to Thailand for some immediate R&R. He stayed for 3 months receiving Singha counseling and contemplating large wooly mammals. He now lives back in London and has got lost in over 6TB of footage and photos. He has not been seen since but rumors have it that he met up with the Master Control Program from Tron on an internet chat room. Reel Earth is sending someone in after him.....
